Smaug

Smaug—One of the most tedious paintings yet, but the most fun to do as well. I used my own custom brush for the gold coins, if not painting them one by one will kill me! Whole Painting took 7 hours. Anyway, video's below, so check it out!

New painting recently completed. I had this idea to do a big aquatic creature, so I came up with a few sketches, and then came up with this painting in the end. truth be told, i haven't watched pacific rim when i painted this.

Here's the whole painting process of the illustration. I apologise for jerkiness in the video which makes it a little hard to watch while painting the diver. Was referencing back and forth to the actual image of a diver. But anyway, enjoy!

New speed painting i did, took around 2 hours to bring it to a 'complete', I would say. Good practice piece. Process below!

An update with my current painting. Been busy past few days, but will keep at it, slow and steady.

It has been a while since I picked up my tablet pen, and honestly it took me quite a while to get my momentum back again. This is a painting I'm currently doing, at the sketch and colour blocking stage right now, after a good trekking session in the forest. Still rough, and many more hours needed for this piece to be completed.

Haven't really gave this guy a name yet, but he's the guy to call when you want something delivered,
like the logistics guy. And what is a pirate without a bandana and an eye patch?
